Our school day starts shortly after 8 am with a brief Assembly addressed by our Headmaster where any current issues are dealt with. Scholars are not required to wear a uniform and come to school casually and comfortably dressed.
Lessons run from 8.30am to 1.40pm (7 classes per day with one half hour break) and teachers are able to give considerable individual attention since classes do not normally exceed about 12 students, often less. During their free periods students are expected to work quietly at their respective work stations.
We do not have enough pupils to offer team sports but our students are welcome to participate in these at the local government school.
Plettenberg Bay offers many sporting clubs such as Kayaking, Horse Riding, Swimming, Tennis, Squash, Cycling, Life Saving, Abseiling, etc. We have our own Volleyball court and cricket is also a favourite on the grounds.
Our students are actively involved in an outreach programme which involves weekly visits to a local crèche and there is an enthusiastic film club and a special workout plan at a local Gym.
